This AUP governs the use of the BlurCom communication gateway. Our goal is to provide a high-quality, reliable, and "spam-free" local communication service for the Buffalo community.
Users are strictly prohibited from using BlurCom for any of the following:
Bulk Messaging: Sending the same or similar message to more than 10 recipients in a short period.
Automated Messaging: Using scripts, bots, or any "non-human" means to initiate calls or texts.
Unsolicited Marketing: Sending "cold" messages to individuals who have not specifically requested communication from you.
Phishing/Fraud: Impersonating banks, government agencies (like the IRS), or other entities to steal information.
Illegal Content: Transmitting any material that violates federal or state laws, including harassment, threats, or copyrighted material you do not own.
To ensure network stability, BlurCom reserves the right to:
Limit the number of messages sent per minute/hour.
Monitor traffic patterns for "bursty" or "robotic" behavior.
Block specific keywords or links that are flagged by our downstream carrier partners as high-risk.
We operate a "Zero Tolerance" policy for spam. If we receive a "Traceback Request" from a carrier or detect a violation of this AUP:
Your account may be suspended immediately without prior notice.
Any remaining balance or credits may be forfeited.
We reserve the right to report fraudulent activity to the appropriate authorities.
If you receive unwanted communication from a BlurCom number, please report it to support@blurcom.com
Or call, toll free 1-888-844-0441
To protect the integrity of the 10DLC ecosystem, we maintain a strict Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). We actively monitor for 'bursty' traffic and prohibit all automated/bulk messaging. Any user found violating these terms is immediately terminated from our gateway.
